「自立するもの」
日常的な物から素材を抽出し、それらを作品として構築する彫刻的アプローチを試みている。この作品では、自立する構造物を制作した。釘を木片に刺し、それぞれの釘の頭を引っ掛かりとして用いることで、物体同士が引き合い、自立する構造を成している。
道具本来の機能や目的を離れ、あくまで「形」や「要素」として扱うことで、道具という存在を別の角度から見つめ直す。日常的な文脈から外れたその扱い方は、むしろ道具というものをより注意深く観察し、素材や構造に対する感覚を研ぎ澄ませるきっかけとなる。
This work explores a sculptural approach that involves extracting materials from everyday objects and reconstructing them into new forms. In this piece, I created a self-supporting structure by driving nails into small wooden blocks. Each nail hooks onto the head of another, forming a system in which the components mutually hold each other in balance.
By treating tools not according to their original function but as independent elements, the work removes them from their everyday context. This shift in perspective invites a closer, more attentive observation of these objects, prompting a renewed awareness of their materiality and structure.
「輪をつくる」
影と実体という、質的にまったく異なる二つの存在の境界をつなぎ、一つの輪をつくった。
本来交わることのないはずのものが形として連続し、あたかも同じレイヤー上に存在しているかのように見えるとき、そこにどのような感覚が生まれるのかを探っている。
異質な要素同士が視覚的に一体化することで、私たちの知覚や物の捉え方に微細なずれや揺らぎが生じるのではないか。そうした問いをきっかけに制作した作品である。

By connecting the boundary between shadow and substance—two elements fundamentally different in nature—I formed a single, continuous loop.
When things that are not meant to intersect appear visually unified, as if existing on the same layer, I begin to wonder what kind of perceptual experience that might evoke.
This work was born from a desire to explore how the visual integration of contrasting elements might subtly shift or unsettle our way of perceiving form and matter.
